WWE star wrestlers Chris “Jericho” Irvine, 39, and Greg “Hurricane” Helms, 35, were arrested early yesterday morning at a gas station. The reason? Cops say they were nabbed for extreme public drunkenness.
The two were picked up by Erlanger police at a Shell station on Dixie Highway. They were in town for a “SmackDown” event Tuesday night at U.S. Bank Arena in downtown Cincinnati. Irvine is from Odessa, Florida and Helms resides in Smithfield, N.C.
Around 5:45 a.m. on January 27, the two were taken into custody and transported to the Kenton County jail and booked for “alcohol intoxication in a public place.”
According to TMZ, Helms smacked several people, including a woman in a drunken altercation that led to the arrest of both men.
The wrestlers were each released on a $120 bond — seriously. Check out their booking photos below.
